Feedback on Toty Promo and Frustration with FC 25 Gameplay and Rewards

Dear EA, 

I feel compelled to share my thoughts on the recent TOTY promo and my overall experience with FC 25. To put it bluntly, I’m deeply disappointed. Despite opening an excessive number of packs - both with coins and purchased UT points - the results were beyond disheartening. Packing the same player, Gwin, six times is not just unlucky; it feels like a slap in the face. I’ve also completed countless SBCs, only to find that none of the rewards have come close to improving my team.  

The reward system, as it stands, is beyond frustrating. It feels almost impossible to pack a card that genuinely enhances your squad, which takes away any sense of achievement or excitement. Promos like TOTY, which should be a highlight of the game, have instead become a source of frustration. The odds seem so skewed that it’s hard not to feel like the system is designed to discourage rather than reward players.  

On top of this, the gameplay itself has been underwhelming. It’s difficult to enjoy the game when the mechanics feel off and the rewards for time and effort invested are so lacklustre. What’s the point of competing if the system consistently fails to acknowledge the effort put in?  

That said, I’m not writing this to announce I’m quitting the game. I bought FC 25 to enjoy myself and compete with the best cards available, and I’ll continue to play occasionally. However, I’ve reached a point where I refuse to spend coins or UT points on promo packs. The experience has made it clear that the odds are not in the players’ favour, and I won’t be contributing further to a system that feels so unrewarding.  

I hope this feedback is taken seriously. At its core, football gaming should be fun, but the current direction is making it increasingly difficult to enjoy. I’d love to see changes that prioritise player satisfaction over profit margins.
