Tried the game in safe boot /clean boot mode as well, still same issues happening
Tested the game on Wifi and ethernet, used the troubleshooting provided web chat as well
Used mobile data to run the game and I am still getting the same issue

    No luck still. On Reddit people were complaining about using tp link x20 as the router.
    by any chance do you use decos with a mesh network. I’m just trying to see if there is a correlation as I have decos as well.

same here can't find a souloution tried closing the game and opened it again but it is still stuck on the black screen when i select kits

  Are you on PC or Playstation?
  
  If you are on PC, trying turning your XMP (Intel) or EXPO (AMD) off and setting the Mhz to default
  
  That has fixed my issue with the black screen after selecting the kits
  
  But I am still having issues with other game modes, can't even load into rush

    my advise is dont use your deco x20.
    
    just test directly with to your router, with wifi.
    
    That will help you confirm thats its the deco.
    
    I dont think ea will be able to do anything about that.
    
    Since i have moved directly to my router, i have had 0 issues.
