Game play heavy and laggy since Javelin Anticheat update
Can EA please fix this issue? Game was really smooth before the new Javelin Anti cheat update but now my players feel like a truck in game. I can hardly play the game!!! I've uninstalled and re-installed the anticheat, changed in game graphics settings to 1080p (I normally play on 4k ultra settings), but nothing seems to work. C'mon EA this is not fair at all. Has anyone found a fix to this heavy and laggy game play since the update?
I found a 'fix' and I can now play on 4K ultra settings again. The gameplay is so unbelievably smooth. I decided to try Norton 360 for Gamers (30 days trial). Yes, it's strange, but after enabling all the Game Optimizer settings, it's incredibly smooth at 144Hz, with a minimum of 165fps at 4K Ultra settings. I had to manually add the game and Javelin anti cheat as shown in the screenshot. I hope this works for someone else.
