How do I connect different game modes including online play on FC25 on the PS5?

I have tried the EA app and www.EA.com and get the following message:

Your accounts can’t be linked because your PlayStation™Network account ******* already linked to your EA Account for 5f*****@disabled.ea.com. An EA Account can only be linked to one PlayStation™Network account in its lifetime.
 
Struggling to connect PS account and FC25 to activate online and other game modes?
