Increase the Number of EA Servers in Australia for Improved Online Latency

As an enthusiastic gamer who is always striving for the best online competitive experience, I find it discriminating that EA is not providing an adequate online service for Australian consumers based throughout various regions of the country. I, like many other Australian players, frequently enjoy playing games such as FIFA and Battlefield yet we are frequently plagued by subpar ping and latency when playing these games online. This is because the only server hosted in Australia is located in Sydney. For many gamers, particularly those living in Perth who are the furthest away, the online gaming experience isn't as smooth or enjoyable as it ought to be due to this latency issue. We are at a competitive disadvantage against Sydney consumers.

The situation in which we find ourselves is all the more unacceptable given that as of 2025, the player base in Australia is higher than ever before. Despite the commitment and loyalty of Australian players, the infrastructure provided by EA has not grown to accommodate this increasing player base and has remained inadequate. For a major gaming company like EA, this lack of support for a dedicated player base is disappointing.

We are simply asking for what we, as the consumers and dedicated players, deserve: Additional EA servers hosted across Australia, specifically in states such as Perth and Melbourne. This investment will not only improve the gaming experience of countless players but also goes to enhance the reputation of EA as a company committed to ensuring the satisfaction of its player base all across the world. Let's not have distance and poor server coverage come in the way of a good game.
