Just lost Rivals game due to EA Servers

I just lost my rival game that would have gotten me into division 3. I was winning 11 : 2 and my Enemy completely gave up and just didnt do anything after half time. The second the round was over the EA Servers crashed or something and i got kicked out. After i went back into UT i was told that i lost the game because i left. How does that even work the round was already over. Now i need to play 2 games again and win  them wich isnt really easy because i am not that good. Do they revert stuff like that or is it just gone now?
