My game keeps crashing in manager career mode

I'm in my sixth season with Ipswich in my manager career mode, which i take great pride in, as i played every game and invested a lot of time in this career mode. But, today as i was advancing to my next game,y game got stuck on "next fixture in 3 days" and crashed. I thought it might be an error, or something, but no, it keeps crashing at the same point "next fixture in 3 days". I do not know what to do, i have tried everything, but it keeps crashing. I don't really want to give up on this career mode, and i am disappointed of the fact that this game costed a lot of money, and still is full of bugs and problems, and now, i can't play either. Just a bit of a let down...
