Green and purple flashing screen glitching
Hello EA support I have a problem with EA FC 25 since the beginning of september. Out of nowhere, the graphics started glitching at startup, after selecting the saved configuration. I reinstalled the game multiple times, I updated all the drivers on my PC and also I installed the game on a laptop to check if it is something from my PC, but the problem was present on there also. EA SPORTS FC 25 on Steam now causes a reproducible Windows blue screen on two PCs that used the game successfully for about a year. Both show SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (0x3B) naming eaanticheat.sys. The failures began at roughly the same time. On one PC I analyzed four minidumps (10 and 15 September 2026) with WinDbg. All four show exception 0xC0000005 at eaanticheat.sys+0x18905d9 and failure hash {ba758836-7880-e66a-acd0-8452c9260e6f}. The driver image in the dumps is timestamped 31 August 2026. The faulting instruction reads address 0x30 from r14=0x28. I preserved the modded game folders as backups, restored original Data and Patch folders, verified all 54.6 GB of game files through Steam, and Steam replaced one failed file. The active installation had no mod markers or mods.txt and no Steam launch options. I also reinstalled EA Javelin anticheat and stopped MSI Afterburner, RivaTuner, and RTCore64. The next FC 25 launch still produced the identical BSOD. I will not repeat the launch until a meaningful change is available because each test forces a Windows restart. Bonjour l'équipe d'assistance, Je me permets de vous contacter car mon jeu EA SPORTS FC 25 plante systématiquement et se ferme tout seul lors de la sélection du profil (après le logo de lancement). Aucun message ni code d'erreur n'apparaît. Le jeu fonctionnait pourtant parfaitement il y a quelques heures. Je suis sur PC et j'ai déjà effectué toutes les manipulations de dépannage de base et avancées sans aucun résultat : Réparation et réinstallation complète du jeu. Suppression manuelle des dossiers de sauvegarde et de profil locaux dans Documents et %localappdata%. Réparation / Réinstallation d'EA AntiCheat en mode administrateur. Vidage des caches (EA App, Steam, shaders DirectX). Mise à jour des pilotes graphiques (Nvidia) Mise à jour visual studio c++ Verification de mise a jour windowsFC25 Won’t start on PC.
FC 25 consistently shows a black screen for ~30 seconds and then crashes with 0xC0000005. WinDbg shows: FC25!GetDenuvoTimeTicketRequest+0x87e8a5 The exception is a read from 0x0000000000000000; at the crash RCX=0, and the instruction is mov rax,qword ptr [rcx]. The preceding function returns RAX=0. The stack also contains ANTICHEAT_VIRTUALIZE_CODEMARKER_SHIELD. I completely reinstalled EA Javelin Anti-Cheat, tested launching through both Steam and the EA app, ran the EA app as administrator, and reset the FC25 settings/fcsetup folders. FC 25 installed via Xbox Game Pass on PC. Game launches to splash screen then crashes. Event Viewer shows EA Javelin Anticheat Event ID 1000, fc25.exe exited unexpectedly with exit code 0xFFFFFFFF. Issue started around 21-22 May 2026. Verified game files, reinstalled EA Anticheat, SFC scan clean, all drivers up to date. Valorant and other games work fine
