My PS3 controller doesn't work on EAFC 25, please help.

My PS3 controller doesn't work on EAFC 25, please help.
Me and my friend's PS3 controllers always had double input, or a ghost controller on previous FIFAs, but we always fixed it by enabling Steam Input and the game worked flawlessly.
Now, when I enable Steam Input, the only buttons that work are the left stick and the button Start is the X button for PS (A for Xbox). Other buttons either do not work, or they do something competely different, even though they are binded correctly in Steam Input settings.
When I do the workaround (disabling Steam input), I experience the same issues from last FIFA/EA FC titles, there seems to be a ghost controller and left stick up = left stick down, random button pressing.
When will you fix Steam Input? It's the only way we can play the game. 

By the way, when I went into the EA App Overlay in-game, all the buttons worked flawlessly, no problems there, only in the game menus.
