Having to disconnect the power in this situation indicates the console is overheating.

Clean the dust/lint from the vents, fan and heatsink and store the console out in the open rather than in an enclosed cabinet.

Hey there, I'm a gamer just like you, only I'm a volunteer.

I have this similar issue and unfortunately it appears to be an unsolved mystery.

It could be possibly a bug or even remote servers shutting down on the end of sony.

Perhaps it's worth mentioning to sony?
