I downloaded the ps5 version but my ps5 kept restarting due to over heating so I went back to ps4 version and now it says
Please note that you can only play Football Ultimate Team on one device at a time. Your UT session on this system has been closed, as you are already playing on a newer generation system.”
please help
everything works, you just need to enter (or re-enter if you are in the ps4 mode) the ps5 version and exit there / quit manually from fut (important, you have to fully close that ps5 fut session) then close the game, then you go into the ps4 version and it won't say it. From ps4 you can move freely to ps5 without exiting fut or closing. It's a minor bug or annoyance
