No Player Control in UT/Division Rivals on PC – Inputs Not Working

Platform:  
PC (Steam)

Game Version:  
EA Sports FC 25

Issue:  
I am experiencing a critical issue in EA Sports FC 25 on PC (Steam). I have no control over my player in core online modes such as Ultimate Team and Division Rivals. The game launches normally, menus work fine, and I can play Volta Rush mode without problems.

However, once I enter a match in Ultimate Team or Division Rivals, none of my input devices respond — I cannot move or control the player at all. The player just stands still. This happens consistently every time, regardless of the controller used.

Input Devices I’ve Tried:  
- Xbox 360 controller  
- PS3 controller  
- Standard keyboard and mouse

Troubleshooting Steps I’ve Already Tried:

- Reinstalled both the game and the EA App multiple times  
- Verified integrity of game files via Steam  
- Deleted all config files located in Documents (including settings.ini, input, etc.)  
- Restarted my PC several times  
- Enabled and disabled Steam Input settings  
- Tested multiple controllers and USB ports  
- Disabled all overlays (Steam overlay, EA overlay)  
- Disabled antivirus and made sure nothing interferes with game input  
- Made sure EA and Steam accounts are properly linked  
- Created a new Windows user account and tested there  
- Tried launching the game in offline mode  
- Ensured all drivers and Windows updates are up to date

Additional Details:

- The issue happens only in core online game modes (Ultimate Team, Division Rivals)  
- Menus and Volta Rush mode work perfectly  
- No error messages appear  
- The issue occurs on every launch, even after clean reinstalls  
- Gamepad input is detected in Steam and in menus, but not once the match starts  
- Feels like something is blocking input only during online matches

Request:

I would really appreciate any help, guidance, or escalation to technical support. If this is a known issue, I’d also like to know if a fix is planned — or if there are options for a refund or compensation in the meantime.

This issue is very frustrating and prevents me from playing the main game modes entirely. I'm happy to provide video recordings or logs if needed.

  • No Bro there is no such updates or Solution is provided by EA until now , i am also unable to play any Division Rivals games or any PvP matches , and this results in not getting any rewards which can be obtained in this modes , this affects a lot as i haven’t even played a single Match effectively in Division rivals and It is a very important mode in game , i really hope EA fix this as soon as possible, and find solution for this.I am also not sure if this is steam problem or PC problem.And although many pc users are going through this problem for a long time there is still no solution provided by steam or EA

    Is there any update coming to fix this issue because I literally didn't even play the game from the second I bought it I stay 3 days trying to fix it without a results 

  • Bro I am Also facing this issue in my pc in which i also have no control over my player at all  in all pvp matches like Rivals or Online Friendly matches , controller works completely fine in all other modes except this Division and PvP matches , and it’s huge problem for Pc players right now , and there is no solution provided by them to fix this .
