Online Friendlies Crashing Almost All The Time
Some time ago, I reported a major bug in the latest version of the FIFA game—FC25—through the posts available at the link below. However, not only did I receive no response, but the post was also locked, preventing any further discussion. After playing this game for over 20 years, I’m experiencing something like this for the first time. I understand perfectly well the meaning behind closing the topic instead of finding a solution.

I will now share the latest developments and list what I have done so far. Regarding the thread linked above, I deleted all the files on both my PS5 and in the cloud. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. This caused all team rosters and tactics to be lost, which is particularly significant since our greatest enjoyment comes from online friendlies—so if the issue were fixed, it would be worth the loss.
Initially, we were unable to play online friendlies with my favorite team, Galatasaray. Now, however, this problem has gradually spread to other teams. While we could previously only play online friendlies with Cem Akgullu, now even his account is facing similar issues. Today, we can find only one or two playable teams within an hour, which is driving us crazy. Even more interestingly, we can play seasons and other online matches with any team on our own. Additionally, in co-op seasons, we can play together with all teams. If this problem continues to spread at the current rate, soon there will be no teams left to play online friendlies with.
Furthermore, using the in-game profile delete feature now deletes all files every time we launch the game for both of us, yet nothing changes. Also, if we disable squads before starting an online friendly and play with the game’s default lineups, we can play without any problems—but that doesn’t bring any joy at all. The real pleasure comes from playing with proper, up-to-date formations.
Considering the EA team’s attitude—as I mentioned above—and their efforts to prevent further posts instead of solving the problem, I fear this might be the game where we finally end our journey that started back in 1994. I sincerely hope they try to resolve this issue instead of remaining silent.
