[PC] Player input freezing every game

Hi, I’m experiencing exactly the same issue on PC.

During matches the inputs suddenly stop responding for a few seconds. My player keeps running in the last direction pressed and ignores any new input. After a short moment control comes back. Interestingly, the keyboard itself is still responding (Caps Lock toggles normally), which makes me think the game is missing the input rather than the keyboard failing.

My system specs:

• Laptop: Lenovo Legion 5 15ACH6H
• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
• GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3060 Laptop GPU
• RAM: 16 GB
• Storage: SSD
• OS: Windows 11

Things I have already tried:

• Reinstalled EA Javelin Anti-Cheat
• Updated GPU drivers
• Verified and reinstalled the game
• Forced the game to run on the RTX 3060 in Windows graphics settings
• Disabled Hardware GPU Scheduling
• Disabled Variable Refresh Rate
• Disabled “Optimizations for windowed games”
• Set NVIDIA power management to Prefer maximum performance

None of these fixes solved the problem.

It really feels like the game temporarily stops registering inputs, because the player continues moving in the last direction until control returns.

Is anyone here still experiencing this issue or found a reliable fix?

ok boys so what helped me after all these years of not knowing how to get rid of that huge input delay and trying everything I could ever found was yet a very simple thing. Today I got rid of my old HDD and it fixed the gameplay and menu input lags and delay completely. I think it had some files on hdd that conflicted because I had my game on hdd before. After I took it out boom we move to the pro scene.
I run i7 12700k with 1060 6gb with just a SATA SSD so my rig is more than just good yet still I experienced all the listed above. 
This has to help. Peace.

1. Limpe seus arquivos temporários:
- Pressione a tecla Windows e “R” ao mesmo tempo.
- Na nova janela, digite ou copie e cole: “%temp%” (sem as aspas) e pressione “Enter”.
- Seu Windows Explorer abrirá a pasta “C:\ Users\ > Seu nome de usuário <\ AppData\ Local\ temp”. Exclua todos os arquivos e pastas dentro dele.
- Se alguns arquivos ou pastas não puderem ser excluídos, reinicie seu sistema e tente novamente.
2. Baixe “Revo Uninstaller” neste local (escolha a versão freeware ou a versão portável).
3. Execute “Revo Uninstaller” e desinstale seu jogo.
- No final do processo de desinstalação principal, o Revo solicitará que você selecione um método de limpeza. Escolha “moderado” e clique em “Navegue”.
- Se você vir a mensagem “Conteúdo de registro restante encontrado”, selecione tudo e clique em “Excluir” e clique em “Avançar”.
Quando a mensagem “Dados e pastas restantes” aparecer, selecione Tudo e clique em “Excluir”.
4. Execute “Revo Uninstaller” novamente e desinstale o EA Desktop.
- No final do processo de desinstalação principal, escolha “moderado” como método de limpeza e clique em “Navegar”.
- Se você vir a mensagem “Conteúdo de registro restante encontrado”, selecione tudo e clique em “Excluir” e clique em “Avançar”.
Quando a mensagem “Dados e pastas restantes” aparecer, selecione todos (exceto a pasta “Jogos Origin”) e clique em “Excluir”.
5. Reinicie o seu PC e reinstale a versão mais recente do aplicativo EA a partir deste local.
6. Reinstale o jogo e execute um teste para verificar se o problema foi resolvido.

i literally tried everything and nothing helps!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a good cpu and gpu' all setting set to low and i have so much fps drops in input lag that the game is unplayable!!!!

please someone help me i can not handle this anymore
