ps4 controller issues on PC

• Please note that Steam Input now needs to be enabled before launching EA SPORTS FC 25 to have it work as intended.

• Open EA App (use the same EA account linked to the Steam account to login to EA app)
• Click on the top left "hamburger menu" with the 3 lines.
• Click Applications.
• Scroll down until you see the In-game Overlay option.
• Make sure this option is unselected.

We have found a new workaround while investigating the issue.

Please disable Steam Input if playing the game on Steam, either for the game individually or across the platform. Additionally, please disable the EA app overlay, you can do that with the steps below:

• Open EA App (use the same EA account linked to the Steam account to login to EA app)
• Click on the top left "hamburger menu" with the 3 lines.
• Click Applications.
• Scroll down until you see the In-game Overlay option.

----- Original Workaround -----

If you're experiencing issues using the PlayStation controller in FC 25 on Steam, here are some instructions that may help you to solve this issue.

If your Library screen for the game appears like in the picture below, you do not have Steam configured correctly for games that natively support this controller:

In that case, close the game, and follow these instructions:

• Go into Steam Settings
• Controller
• PlayStation Controller Support

and then changing this setting back to the default setting of "Enabled in Games w/o Support”

This will ensure that Steam Input only enables when games do not natively support the controller.

Your Library page should now look like this:

This should mean that your PlayStation controller will work correctly in-game. Now you can launch the game and verify if Inputes recognize correctly .

Alternatively, if you only want to disable Steam Input for FC 25, click “View controller settings” on the Library page here:

And then select “Disable Steam Input” here:

If these steps do not work for you please provide the following information:

• Are you playing the game on Steam or EA App?
• What controller are you having the issue with? (PS4, PS5, Xbox, other)
• Is the issue happening all the time or only in specific situations? Can you describe the situation/game mode?
• What is the issue that's happening? Does it not work at all? Is it drifting? Incorrectly mapped?
• (Not required but helpful) Include a DxDiag
