Quitting after half time is not awarding a win

Did EA remove the "winning after an opponent quits when it's tied"? I'm playing division rivals, im in Division 4 since the season reset. My opponents have been quitting when it's tied and the game is not awarding a win. They quit after the 45th minute mark, some with red cards and one even left after he fouled me in the penalty box. Somehow he managed to quit before I was able to take the penalty, and again nothing was awarded. They quit after the second half and nothing is being awarded, it's like we are back to previous FIFA's / FC games. Please look into this, because it's been three games already and I feel like im just wasting my time. 

Lastly, the community is so toxic. Do something about it, seriously.
