I told them the exact same thing. And when I told them that the person on chat said “I’ve already told you that is not something we can deal with. I’ve spoken to my team about it and they also agree this is a third party issue.”

  • After talking with EA support for over an hour today, I was told by an employee: "Alright so I may be on to something here. I think we just might be able to pull something off here so I have been doing this job for a while now and I have some experience with such cases, so got your back here, so I will tell you how this works, now basically EA has a lot of developers out there that are always on the lookout for such anomalies within the game, that's like their sole job. So I have something on my mind just hear me out first.
    ( 25m 50s ) Alexson: Now what I will do is I will be reporting this issue as a bug report especially for you and I should tell you I am going out of my way to get this done, from my end I will be drafting a proper case for you, will be making proper case notes too so that this catches immediate attention."

    It seems promising and they went on to say that EA would not let me down. I'm not entirely clear on what exactly they're doing or how long it'll take to get done, but thought I'd share with you all and get your thoughts.

    Did you tell Alexson that there is 22 pages on the answers.ea.com forum of people with the same problem if he wants proof it's more than just you? haha

    I can't believe it's been 3 weeks and they haven't fixed it yet. At the very least you'd think they could verify the people have used the legit codes via their gamertags, wipe the original code/purchase and give us new codes to use.

    @boundbymusic lol it was all in the massive text I opened with outlining the issue and how many people it affected. Alexson was the third person I talked to and seemed to be the only one to actually grasp the scale of the situation. So hopefully they got the message but I'm not sure at this point.
  • Okay update everyone:

    i got in contact with Playstation support and the assistant told me that when he looked into the issue he found that EA has fixed this in game issue and that it will come into effect in 2 hours. As I'm writing this it's 2 PM PST and I was told that If I go back on at 4 PM I should be able to play. Hopefully he's right! I think EA usually puts out updates on Thursdays so that would make sense. 

  • @HamDawg25 to be clear, he said he didn't have an exact timetable but that he estimated it would be two hours. He was confident that a fix was in place, though, just not positive on when it would be available today.
  • im very sure about the code i used was a ultimate pack fc25 code

    high probability people will find out that they could not get the ultimate pack's 4600 fifapoint and the hero pack in future

    Is there any progress? I still have the Trial version open.

  • As of now no, I deleted the game a couple hours ago after it didn’t work and it’s currently downloading.

    Holy balls I got it to work.

    click the FC25

    As it’s loading go to your network settings and disxonnect from your network. 
    Go back to your Welcome to FC25 screen and hit X. It will tell you that you must be logged in to play.

    Go back and turn your network on

    Hit X in again.

    it will say username is logging in.

    the first time it said it wouldn’t log in but I tried again and it went to the disclaimer screen and now I’m in.

    However now it does appear that I’m stuck in an expired trial or something. So I got into the actual interface of the game but all I see is FC News, Learn to Play and Upgrade. Upgrade gives me an error.

    So I made it a step further but still can’t play. It appears now I am stuck in a trial version (it shows that I have to purchase the Ultimate or Regular versions) whereas before it said I had the Ultimate version. 

  • Literally no * given. This company treats it's player base like garbage. I hope 2k or whoever will develop a new game will make you go bankrupt.
