Re: EA FC 25, IS SECURE BOOT NEEDED?

I managed to run the game after steam purchase for 6 hours. since then every attempt hardlocks my PC. I lost a 2TB SSD that failed from this.I tried a complete windows 11 reinstall, same issues remain. Even worse, FIFA 15, Mass Effect and Dragon Age Inquisition no longer work and no one seems to care to help fix this disaster.

There is no mention of it requiring secure boot. I refuse to enable it or disable CSM since this can brick your motherboard, and the game worked fine the first time I ran it without.

Steam is refusing to refund me, this appears to be a giant scam now for us to get robbed of our money while the devs and steam go spend it and deny refund requests.

Shocking abuse of power and false advertising.

    According to this link https://fifauteam.com/fc-25-ea-anticheat-pc/ secure boot is required in Windows 11.

    That means that I will say bye bye to ea fc. If next year remove this requirement I will buy it.

    On Windows 10 is not mandatory, but why to Windows 11 is? EA's nonsense.

    No other anticheat in the world forces you to make changes to the way you make your pc configuration.

    Let's see next year if 2K make a FIFA game. There is no competition and EA Sports do what ever crazy they think.
