I got this from Customer Support:

"I wish to inform you, that whenever you make a purchase on your EA account generally it gets updated immediately however, the standard time for the content to get updated is maximum 24 hours. So, I would request you to please wait for 24 hours from the time you have made the purchase to get the goods updated on your EA account"
