Re: EA FC Anti Cheat Error (7) (2)

So, guys, today I installed Windows 10 on a completely new drive with only the Steam app and the EA Sports app, and it’s still showing the same error. The guides available online are absolutely useless, so I haven’t been able to play for two weeks now, and it seems like there’s no solution. The only option left is to start bombarding EA Sports to do something about it or at least give us our money back.

Thanks for sharing, I tried a fresh Windows 11 install and was thinking maybe its os related. You saved me trying a fresh Windows 10 wipe!

I'm thinking it must be a specific hardware compatibility issue. I'm running a 3800x processor with an Aorus b450 pro motherboard with 48gb of ram. I have fanatec csl DD wheel and Warthog flight controls. I have a g900, g910 logitech keyboard and mouse. What kind of equipment have you guys got? Mind you I tried unplugging all my usb devices.

  • I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve been playing FC 25 for several months without any problems. I haven’t changed any hardware; the game just started freezing on me around December 4th. But as I said, I haven’t changed any hardware, installed any new apps, or anything like that.

Ok so crazy issue and crazier solution.I have a Fanatec CSL DD 8nm. I upgraded the firmware to the latest and the driver to 464. Just before the issues started a week or so back.So Turning it off doesn't fix the issue but if I plug it out or change it to orange mode and restart the eaanticheat service (sometimes I have to kill it with pskill as its stick starting) it will run. So something in the CSL DD either driver or firmware when in red mode is causing the anti cheat to trigger. Moral of the story unplug all your USB ports and try it with just a mouse and see if its a usb issue.

@damothegray i trying these several steps:

    1. Remove Logitech ghub.
    2. Remove preloaded dll files from the game files
    3. Start the game until preload error appears
    4. Close the warning
    5. Verify the game via steam.
    6. Run steam and EA as admin.
    7. Start the game.

This step works for me and maybe for you guys also.
