Re: Stuttering on PC after the Update?

This problem hasn't been solved since the mid-November update. The game is still not playable on i7 14700k rtx4070 64 gb ddr5 ram. This is a high-end PC, and it proves this game is broken. I bought the game from Steam and tried to get a refund after the holidays 3 times, but all were rejected. I am just wondering what we should do. Either accept the refund or solve the issue.

Is there anyone who bought the game from Steam and managed to get a refund?

I had messaged the head of EA and he replied me with this message,
"Thank you for taking the time to raise this concern, much appreciated.  We have round the clock monitoring of systems and forums, and work diligently to ensure the highest quality possible.  I will forward your message to our live top just to play it safe."
    Let's be hopeful.
In the meantime, I would like to hear something from the community managers. Please say something @AntiCheatWard @EA_Pulsar @EA_Barry @EA_Nuno
When can we expect a fix on this?

A new year begins EA, do you think we can get a fix to this problem during 2025 or we should wait to the next year? More than two months with the game broken. Worst SLA in the World

My game started running worse again without me changing anything. Not like it has ran well for the last month and a half but its terrible again now. I keep seeing complaints about performance on new PCs, which is wild having issues on the best hardware we can have.

FC is not a PC game anymore, if you wanna play this you need a console. Thats it, thats the only fix.

Hello guys, I was able to solve my problem. It's not anticheat that causes the stuttering. It's due to AuraSync from Asus (Amoury Crate). But it's not the program itself but selected lighting modes that cause the stuttering. Whenever you don't select a static lighting mode stuttering occurs. You have to set your RGB lighting (for me it is an ASUS ROGStrike 4080) to static RGB lighting. No flashing color profiles. For example if you switch off AuraSync and only use a fixed color profile the error goes away. If you delete the entire Amoury Crate software the error is gone.

Anyone who uses AuraSync and has dynamic color profiles give it a try. For me it was definitely the cause. I discovered it through VR because I always had stuttering when playing VR and at some point I figured out Amoury Crate was the cause. I then always deleted parts of the software and the problem went away. Until I discovered yesterday through a lot of testing that the stuttering only occurs with dynamic color profiles. Then I remembered that I switched from a fixed to a dynamic profile just as FC25 started to stutter.

I hope it helps for you who also use ASUS RGB software. If you don't have Asus software you might still want to check your RGB software.

For me it was definitely the solution. I've played several games now and nothing stutters anymore. I haven't changed anything else on the PC.

I'm aware that this probably won't be the cause for everyone.

    Maybe it will help others.

ea should solve this problem now, the number of victims is not as few as thought, I have seen many people experiencing this problem in every local forum, if ea does not solve this problem, it will lose many players next year, my graphics card and processor are very good, but this optimization problem in the game causes stuttering, I hope ea will fix it soon, if not, I will apply to the legal process and demand my money back.

over 400 pages of replies, 0 information from devs, you cant refund the game, many pc players are stucked for almost 2 months now. This is just embarassing. Can't wait when they will announce ea fc 25 as game of the year. How is that even possible???

Did you test it with the lights set to off?

On my side the lights on the asus software are on off, but the game worked fine until the november update. I have a 4070ti btw.

I ll give it a try

you were right. the stuttering is back again. I also know why it was better. AuraSync wasn't to blame but the resolution had changed and was only WQHD. Actually play in 4K. WQHD stutters less. It is still unplayable in 4K, which worked without any problems at 120FPS before the TU5. There must be a connection to the Windows 24H2 Update. That was released around the same time. This in combination with the AntiCheat seems terrible. Sad that EA hasn't solved the problem for 2 months. The game isn't fun and I haven't played it since.
