Re: unable to connect to ultimate team

I've been unable to fix this issue after 3 weeks of tickets with both EA and PSN.

The PS4 version of FC25 works on PS5 but PS5 version won't connect to EA servers when the game launches. All modes. Was able to connect to the EA server for the two factor authentication then immediately get EA Servers unavailable after providing the two factor codes.

Please help. 

Below is what I've tried that has not helped:

on PS5:

Logout/ Login

Safe mode: Cleared cache and

Safe mode: Rebuilt the database

Safe mode: Restored Default settings

deleted my profile and re added it

hard restarted PS5 and all networking equipment

set the DNS to 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4

deleted and re-downloaded the game.
deleted the save files.

on FC25:

  • Log from the Web/Companion App
  • Navigate to Squads
  • Delete the active Squad and create a brand new squad.
  • Log out of the Web/Companion App
  • Attempt to log into Ultimate Team
  • Verify that this time the game does not crash on boot, and the error is not returned.
  • Launch FC25
  • Navigate to Settings
  • Select Profile > Delete
  • Delete all local files except:
    • Online Pro files.
    • Files with Career in the name. These are your saves for these game modes—they won’t be re-downloaded and can’t be restored.
    • You can also delete Personal Settings 1 to fix any audio or visual issues, like glitching, flickering, or loss of sound. Keep in mind that you’ll lose Skill Game progress and your custom controller layout. Only delete this if you’re sure you’re okay with losing these and having to set them again.
  • This will reset any custom rosters or squad created that may cause this issue.
  • Navigate back to the main menu
  • Launch Kickoff and observe that a new Squad Update is being downloaded
  • Play any match
  • Observe that this time you are able to launch the game without any error messages being returned.

1. Logout from your FUT (PS5 or PC or XBOX etc..)

2. Wait until your loggin session completely cleared.(Aprox 15min or more)

3. Loggin to EA companion.

4. Go to Club tab

5. Create New Squad.

6. Activate your new squad. (old squad will be automatically deactivated.)

7. Now you can delete the old squad.

8. Goto setting. (Bottom left of your companion app screen.)

9. do the proper loggout EA companion.

10. Try to login your FC25 FUT (Mine was PS5)

Nothing has worked to far. Please help!

    @Suppositori In the same circumstances but mine started last night. Tried to fix with all above but nothing. Doesn’t work on web app sometimes either. It’s not my WiFi or my console it’s something on EA’s end

    Tried all the things from above post. Still can’t get past this, haven’t had a problem in the prior two months. Somebody please help

  • EA I will buy ea fc points and lots of packs if you fix it!!!! (Maybe that will help ) smh
