Rush and Drop In glitch

When I play rush or drop in my game loses input and I cant control mypro. It causes me to forfeit the match. My player just walks down the field. My keyboard or controller doesnt work. I bought the game on epic games but it launches with EAapp. I already tried adding it to steam and changing the steam controller input.
