I THINK I HAVE THE SOLUTION:
This happened to me yesterday aswell. I did in fact had deamon tools installed years ago. I already had uninstalled it, but the deamon tools folder was still on my "Program Files" folder.
1: I tried to delete the folder, since no Deamon Tools program wasnt on the "Add\Remove Programs" anymore. But i couldnt delete some .dll files, since the system was using them. So, i restarted my PC on safe mode, i did Windows key + R and wrote msconfig, then i clicked on "Minimal" so the pc would start on minimal in the next restart.
2: When the pc restarted, i was able to delete all those files from the deamon folder. Went again to msconfig and unticked the minimal option, and restarted.
3: I used CCLeaner to solve the registry entries, and cleared all those registry errors.
I tried to launch the game, but still the same error appeared.. i googled and googled, and its funny, i ended up in some foruns of people asking why their deamon tools wasnt working, and found that Deamon tools, when installed, created some devices on your own PC.
4: So next step, i went to Device Manager, i uninstalled 2 devices associated with Deamon, i cant remember in which exact part they were, but just open them one by one, its pretty clear which ones belong do DEAMON, one clearly says "deamon something" the other, a bit down the line, says something about "Bus" something, and i just clicked uninstall on it. (If you really are affraid of uninstall something you shouldnt, just search "Deamon tools device manager" and look up where deamon puts their devices)
5: Ran my CCleaner again, restarted my PC, and EAFC25 ran again.
PS: Try to have a Windows Boot USB drive with you when you do the "minimal restart" since it might have problems restarted. I had, my pc didnt restarted and windows didnt ran, black screen in fact, i used my laptop to search for answers, and found that when turning on the pc, i had to force BIOS Setting by clicking DEL non stop, some PC´s might use another key. (this might not even happen to to you, but happened to me and i stressed a bit, if i had a USB drive, things would go easier). If you dont have the USB drive, at least know your motherboard, and know exactly which key to press. Dont know why windows had such a hard time restarting at minimal, i never tried it on this windows, previous windows always gave you the option to start in safe mode everytime the pc crashed, but not Windows10.
Iam not usually the kind of guy who writes this stuff, usually iam the one who reads it, but i had a pretty bad moment yesterday, and i hope it can help people stuck on the same problem.
