Standard edition - can I play ps4 version if I buy on ps5?

Hi, Hopefully someone can help! I’ve read a lot about dual entitlement and haven’t really got a definitive answer. I can see that if I buy the ps4 version, I get a free upgrade to ps5. However...

If your game is eligible, you can install both Gen 5 and Gen 4 versions from the PSN store on your PS5 console.
