Stuck at Loading Screen After Opponent Leaves Match – EA FC 25

Ultimate Team (FUT Champions / Division Rivals)
Issue Summary:
When my opponent leaves a match (voluntarily or due to disconnection), the game often freezes on the loading screen. I am forced to close the game manually (Alt+F4). The match result is not always recorded, and I sometimes receive a DNF penalty.
Expected Outcome:
If the opponent leaves the game or disconnects, I should be returned to the post-match screen and awarded a win (or result recorded). The game should not freeze or become unresponsive.
Actual Outcome:
The game gets stuck at a black or spinning loading screen. I cannot continue and must force quit. Occasionally the game doesn’t record the result at all.
Frequency:
50% of the time when opponents quit mid-game. More frequent during peak hours.
Troubleshooting Steps Tried:
Cleared EA App and FC 25 cache
Repaired the game via EA App
Reinstalled the game
Switched from Wi-Fi to Ethernet
Disabled all background apps
No VPNs or overlays used
Ping & Server Region:
248ms ping (Malaysia, expected to connect to Singapore server)
Additional Notes:
This seems to be a recurring server/session handling bug. Please escalate this issue — it makes FUT modes very frustrating and inconsistent.
