Why is it impossible to win auctions on companion app?

It just happened again, this is a violation of all fairness and an urgent problem. Can someone else please tell me if this is happening to you as well?

Again, I bid 5 different times, and then I get the message. I've lost out on so many player items at great prices because of this problem. Can someone please explain why this keeps happening and how to avoid it?
