2 Accounts, same usage, one banned, no proper response from EA
Hi, I have been recently banned from football_soccer, which removed my access from all football games I have (on my pc account is fc 24 ad 25)
According to EA I was cheating.
Oddly enough I have a ps5 account, also with EA FC 25, I do the same thing on both, SBCs on the webapp as I used a single devide to to them for pc and ps5.
The difference between the two accounts is that in the PC i just swapped my controller to a more responsive one (flydigi apex 4) which made me green time like 40ish % of my shots. (I still red a lot).
The ban happened as I got home from work, opened the webapp, did 2 bronze sbcs, and was removed from the everything soccer related.
Upon further investigation with a support representative, we noticed my pc account was being accessed randomly, usually on days near my fc points purchase, from Hong Kong, Japan, and other locations.
I have been doxxed multiple times due to the nature of my work, but it was the first time this happenend.
Upon digging deeper, I found out that my steam account suffered multiple attempts of being accessed, and my Epic (one of them) was, which I have recovered already.
The concern I have, is that I do not know what caused the ban, the case says it is in progress, but no one talks to me, there was no warning or anything, it was a single occurrence of something and an immediate ban.
How can we escalate the case? I have spent over 400 USD this year on this game, and I was not even given any opportunity to know that my account was compromissed, I had to figure that out and resolve it with some support help.
Now, how long does EA take to respond to this? Why cases where there was a clear compromise of the account we do not have a way of recovering it?
Why does EA ban immediately with no warnings? Why was I never warned that my account was being accessed from locations that are in the opposite side of the world?
I have come back to fifa after leaving with fifa 14. Keep in mind I played since the fifa world cup 1998.
The experience has been awful so far, from a support perspective.
The other thing, I offered to provide all logs from my machine, including registry entires, service information, history of installed software.
I also shared my other account (the PS5 one) to show the usage to be the same.
I have a few questions to EA:
1. A person has 2 average accounts Ps5 with ea fc 23, 24 and 25 and a pc accounts with fc 24, and 25. I am Div 5-4 on Pc, currently climbing on PS5 to 6. I do not have any meta players, or high coin value players. I struggle a lot against other people. If any of my accounts were of a cheater, why would I be in such a low ranking, and not even getting championg rewards and having to really on FC points for packs to get fodder?
2. Having absolutely no history of any violations on any of the accounts, why is the first measure from EA to ban someone that was not even aware their account was compromised?
3. Based on the consumer law in brazil, EA became liable for the way things were handled. so is court the only reliable way to get a proper response?
4. I stream most of the games I play on twitch, like overwatch, marvel snap. Poe, diablo, and eventually fc (channel is astravadavida). I have a somewhat of a big following (about 500k on tiktok, 30k on both twitch and youtube). I am known for loving harder difficulty games, and figuring how to break the hardest difficulties. Why would I be accused of cheating in any way, if that goes precisely against what I love, which is play HARD modes? I would never really on cheats for anything as they are for weak minded people.
5. I always report people that cheat, with disconnect cheat, with rubber on their stick during rush, even green timed cheats. Always EA says they are no violations. But then me using the game itself and the webapp in someway says I was cheating and deserving of a lifetime ban on ALL futebol games. Isn't it odd that clear instances of cheating are ignored by EA and instances of people NOT cheating somehow get flagged as cheating?
I am completely disapointed as I do not see EA responding any time soon, we have nno clear information, ETAs, or even escalation paths.
EA FC and other EA games tend to have daily content, weekly events, and pack opportunites, all of these are lost. Any money spent on the game is lost. What do I get in response? Someone is looking into your case....
I have seend people in the forums reporting 2-3 months with no response from EA. So what do you guys need to provide an actual good service to clients?
As an IT SR Manager, I see a lot of things that are wrong with your support, and even with your anticheat, that 6 months ago had a memory leak that I have reported and it got fixed due to all the testing I have done (search the forums and my chat with Abhishek2 in may). But as a gamer, a wife, someone that plays this game for fun, I have a lot of problems of being accused of something that I have not done, and then be left in the dark with no response.
I hope you all improve your customer service, specially from this TOS team. At this moment I feel they do not care. (surprised? no)
