As we know, many, many, many people are complaining about how badly this mode has been implemented, mainly due to the fact it's not FUN (you know, that reason we play games) when 99/100 your "teammates" hog the ball.Obviously EA noticed this, and their "solution" (and I use that word loosely) was to do a challenge for assists so people have to pass the ball.Great success, people are now passing, and refusing to score meaning EA, in their infinite wisdom have solved one problem by causing another.Now I don't know about you, but continually offering rewards for personal efforts in a TEAM game is counterintuitive to festering a team mentality (shocking I know, people are selfish) so how about this.Instead of "score X goals in a match" we have "score X TEAM goals in a match" so all goals scored in the match count to all players on that TEAMInstead of "assist X goals in a match" we have "assist X TEAM goals in a match" so all assists scored in the match count towards all players on that TEAMNow all players are given an incentive to both score and assist, and work, you know, as a TEAMBut alas, this is a good idea, and EA no doubt will never implement a good idea as it might lead to a good product.

The irony of all that being that none of the assists in the game counted towards the Rush Objective!

@Leelongy73 I had the same issue yesterday1-1 with 30 seconds to go and two players are passing back and forth because neither would shoot. I literally had to intercept the ball myself to score because I didn't care about the assist challenge (and wanted to, you know, win the match)How anyone at EA didn't realise that people would stop scoring and just trying for assists is beyond me

@RadioShaqs So you penalise actual players having FUN because you are convinced that everyone else is trying to cheat.How did I guess you would back EA's system because you hate people having FUN and would rather we all suffer playing bad games.

I don't play the mode but can't miss all the bad press it's getting.Do these objectives only count if you are on the winning side? If not then they really should. Surely you still want to promote scoring and actually winning the match do you not?I do sometimes wonder what game developers are actually thinking because the way they perhaps intend a game to be played vs what people are actually like and how they will really play are so far apart.I do wonder if things should only count when you win. However, you will need to make sure you have to actually play football to win with no exploits or you are back to square one.

@RadioShaqs If you don't move your player for 10 seconds you are booted from the game, as happens in rivals.

There you go, problem solved.

The fact you care more about players getting things for free in a game you can literally buy your way to success shows you don't care about actual players.

I asked this on twitter, everyone agreed it was a great idea, funny how the only person to disagree is the EA defender.

@RadioShaqs You disagree because it goes against your employers wishes, you don't want the game to improve you want the game to be as bad as possible so you can blame people for not liking it.

The fact you are more concerned with fantasy non-players over people actually playing the game, all saying the same thing, shows why nobody here cares what you think and why more and more are calling you out for it.
