Academy Evo Question

So when you do the academy Evo it says the max chem styles is 8, but then the finished version has 8 chem styles and 2 chem style pluses. So is that 10 total chem styles. I ask because I have her 80 to 84 Evo done and am up to 7 chem styles. Six are basic and one is plus but it counts as 7. So I still have two basic I didn't apply because I don't want to max her at 8 when they haven't released the next chem style plus. Hope this makes sense because it's definitely rocket science
