JulianxxxxxxxxxxI know what you're saying, my previous comment isn't aimed at you but the other comment from Andrew. I don't disagree with what you've said in your comments, I know it's easy to make the mistake, I just think they have done quite a lot to try and prevent it without making it so restrictive. Not enough for the general population, as is clear with the number of mistakes people seem to be making, but separating it all out into another tab and making the cards look vastly different is quite overt.
Andrewrg2Given the number of posts flooding in along the lines of "i screwed up my evo" it's hardly surprising nothing ever gets dealt with - that's my whole point. The fact you've gone straight to "yeah let everyone have a 92 mendy" from your supposedly obvious and simple proposal says everything and is an entirely different conversation. The game is functional, there are just some ways you can make mistakes. In this instance, all you are missing is a sentence on the Evo confirmation screen which, let's be honest, none of you would read anyway.
In all honesty the reason I went straight to that is because I'm at a point where I'm tired and can't be bothered to debate it. It's still an obvious proposal, they could just include the requirement that it must have previously been a future stars evolution. That's the requirement to do the evo so it can't be hard to recreate it in reverse. I mean come on just think about it for 5 seconds, if they can set requirements to do it they can set requirements to reverse it, and because there was only like 15 future stars evolution players it's really not hard to narrow down or like they are coding for every single player.
AFriskyPigeonThey may have done quite a lot with the tabs - still, they have not done THE most obvious part, with simply making it impossible to submit the cards in other evos if they‘re not supposed to. Sorry, but with good game design an error like this could‘ve easily been prevented.
And again, in the end it is still of course my own error, but it’s just sad that a tiny error like this kills the promo and the great concept of this evo for me (and many more) because let‘s face it: We can write posts about it all day and promote the easiest solutions possible, but in the end EA won‘t do anything regarding this topic.
Julianxxxxxxxxxxas I've said before, that part would prevent people from putting the FS Evo card into any of the other unrestricted evolutions, which they are more than entitled to do if they so wish. Want a Nwaneri with 88 shooting, a low rating and Finesse+ to put into another Evo down the line, perhaps because you're going away for 2 weeks tomorrow? You wouldn't be able to with your proposal, and would instead be forced into grinding out every objective and subsequent evo to get to the 92, which you may not actually want to do as it cannot have Finesse+. Either that or settle for the 84 rated card.
Freedom to put the card into any Evo is a Feature, not a Bug.
I do totally understand where you're coming from in your second point though, I do hope for your sake that they can do something as you're right, it does kill the promo a bit. All my original comment was pointing out is that modifying the existing evos to have this restriction is not likely to be something they could do now, given a little time has passed and some people may still want to do them like that. Apparently that makes me an EA shill.🤷♂️
Get your first point, although I still think they could‘ve done better on that - one possibility would be a restriction to that evo, the other would be more cards to choose than just one. And again: I don‘t say it is an error, I just want to make suggestions on how they could‘ve handled the whole Evo better - which in this case means more understandable.
I get that being able to put the Card in EVERY Evo available is a good thing in general. However, in this case it is not very intuitive that there will be more and more evos coming after you finished the possible ones that are available currently. So for me, a little more restriction would’ve propably been helpful for large parts for the community. Or let‘s state it the other way: it would‘ve helped far more people than it would‘ve hurt.
