Can i start an evo of another card previously evolved?

I evolved my base Bale with the 4 star week foot christmas evo. Than i found another base Bale and i was thinking of putting him in the icon evo. How can i do it? Do i have to put the evo bale into...

 Once you put Bale into 4 star it changed its rarity, therefore you can not put him into icon evo any more. Check all availability evos carefully before you make any decisions.
