Champions finals win counted as loss

Just wondering if anyone has had a win on champions be recorded as a loss? Had one of the closest most fun matches I've had in a while and won on penalties. Game ended, I pressed advance and then when it took me back to the menu it counted as a loss. Pretty annoyed because I'm not really that great but that would've been a 5 game winning streak with 10 still left to play.
