Custom tactics have ruined Fifa

Yeah I agree, I'm a disabled gamer so I can't hold down 3 or 4 buttons at the same time to make the AI do anything so all they do is literally stand still, don't mark their player, don't cut passing lanes, they just stand there.

When playing career mode it tells where you should be on the pitch and which players you should be marking, so why the hell don't the AI do that in ultimate team??

And because they are standing still when I switch to them they take forever to start moving!!!! They can't even stand still in position, they are ALWAYS out of position.

What's even crazier is even though 80% of the time they are standing still and doing nothing by half-time most of my players have no stamina. I make sure all my players have + or ++ familiarity but they STILL have no stamina by half-time.

This year MY players are actually getting slower with no stamina but my opponents players don't seem to get any slower, it sucks.

Totally agree, but I don't think tactics should be removed entirely. EA just needs to seriously nerf the defensive AI. The gameplay has become boring when players park the bus, run 5 at the back, and only control one player. There’s no skill in that. The skill gap has almost disappeared—what’s the point of playing a game where you barely have to control your team because the defensive AI does everything for you...

EA needs to focus on improving the attacking AI instead. The game should be more dynamic and centered on attacking, not dominated by defensive AI tactics. Honestly, formations like 3/5 at the back should be removed; they just don’t belong in a video game, in my opinion.

Furthermore, EA should consider building the next EA FC from scratch instead of just copy-pasting the same game year after year.

Yeah you have no choice but to use them, even if you set up as balanced the game will still interfere far to much.

If you set up PTB and HIGH pressing which virtually everybody does you shouldn't be able to just use 2 button presses to make your full team go fro. Defend to attack especially how quick they get into their new position. This along with holding buttons down to close and then tackle without even having to position your defenders, means there's no skill required to play the game. It defo needs looking at

The first two posts on this really contradict each other. the first want't the A.I to do a lot less for the user while the second want's the A.I to do a lot more but still they seem equally upset. So what do you wan't EA to do? more or less?

I think my opinion is clear.

I think What @GSM350 is trying to say is sort of the same ish. Because of his disability he's unable to use the AI mechanism so he's at an unfair disadvantage.
