I have to agree- this is very unfair.
* You should be gaining and maintaining your consumers- not deterring them from your product.
* It's a great thing to have received such an amazing card in such a fun, nostalgic, and unexpected way, but to still have particularly pesky requirement, that serve no purpose other than to exclude people from the enjoying the game even more, was redundant
* I believe you should send out an EVO card, for Zidane's 2002 card improvement, to anyone that purchases the game by a certain date. To provide an example of how great of an aspect this is, we can compare it to eFootball; in one of their prior editions, they promoted a great reward for those who downloaded the game by a particular date- a free Diego Maradona card. This was all that was needed to enjoy the game a little more- download and you're rewarded. Everyone wants to be rewarded with something that's fun in video games, so why not have made the Zidane EVO available for everyone and anyone in a similar fashion to how eFootball did with Maradona? This would've been great regardless of what player was given for free to be honest; it could've been Messi, Cristiano, Zola, my grandmother- anyone! The fact that it was specifically Maradona was a plus for all.
* Plus, I found that the requirement to get this EVO [that you have to be a "Club Member"] is just creating an aura of separation instead of unity within the enjoyment of your game; Personally, I've been playing FIFA since 2008, stopped after FIFA 13, then came back around the release of FIFA 17 up until the present- and I know there are people who have been playing FIFA for even more than me. The point being that if anyone should be considered a "Club Member", and receive something as awesome as the Zidane card and his EVO, it should be people like me and soo many others that have been playing your game throughout the years. And considering the fact that, now, we normally have to pay $80 to $100 every year for the game- don't you think we all deserve the reward too?
* And not to mention the aspect of community and keeping us together; it's not fair to bring pizza to the classroom, but only have enough pizza for certain students, or on a [pun semi-intended] "first-come-first-serve" basis. I was very disappointed when I couldn't find, from one category to other within the game, the EVO card. I would've enjoyed playing FIFA even more if I had to grind for the Zidane upgrade.
* In conclusion, I think it would be in EA's best interest to provide everyone with the EVO card and make everyone have fun. I truly believe this is a no brainer, and you'll see a huge positive impact, and response, from the EA and FIFA/FC community. I hope that this change goes into affect and look forward to it- take care!
