Evolution problem

I encountered a problem with the "Become Immortal" evolution in FC 25. After successfully upgrading my player from 90 OVR to 91 OVR, the next evolution step to 92 OVR did not unlock. Instead, the step 90 to 91 appeared again, although I had already completed it. I did not apply any external evolutions or items that could make my player unusable. All steps were performed correctly. It seems that the game did not register my progress or reset it. Please consider my situation and help solve the problem

  • I have the same problem my player is 91 and cant get to 92 eventough i have unlocked all challenges from 'become immortal'

  • WSergUKR  There are 2 evos - One named as 91 to 92 and Other one named as 90 to 91 as shown in below image. You must have used 91 to 92 evo on your 90 rated card as it fits the requirement for both evos. Hence, now you left with 90 to 91 evo with 91 rated card.

    Hello again,

Thank you for the response. However, I must strongly disagree with your conclusion that I am at fault for using the wrong evolution.

    Let me clarify:

I used the 90→91 upgrade, which the game itself offered and allowed me to apply. There were no restrictions or warnings shown at that point.

If the system permitted the evolution to be used, it is logical to assume it was compatible.

The next evolution to 91→92 never unlocked, even though all conditions were met.

Later in the evolution path (e.g., for the 94 OVR upgrade), the game clearly requires a 92-rated player — that condition is visible.

Why is such strict validation applied there, but not in the earlier 90→91 step? This inconsistency causes confusion and progress-blocking mistakes that players cannot undo.

This issue stems from a design flaw or lack of safeguard in the system, not from user error. I simply followed what the game showed and allowed.

  • Frankly, this situation reflects a lack of professional responsibility from the development side. If a feature allows players to proceed with an incompatible upgrade without any warning or restriction, that is a clear design failure — not user error. Players shouldn’t be punished for trusting the game’s interface and logic. Such oversights undermine user experience and raise questions about the quality control of core gameplay systems.

  • It’s deeply frustrating to realize how much time was wasted — first on completing meaningless in-game tasks that led nowhere due to a flawed system, and then on writing detailed reports and forum posts just to explain what should be self-evident from the start. In the end, players receive neither real assistance nor any form of compensation for the progress lost through no fault of their own. It feels like we are doing QA for the developers, without even being acknowledged.

Let’s be honest — meaningful help from EA is unlikely. With no real competition left in the football simulation market, it seems EA has entirely forgotten what quality and accountability mean. The concept of player feedback has been reduced to a formality, and user experience feels like an afterthought rather than a priority.
