You can try that but there could be chance that you may have selected wrong player. Here is EA help link - https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/using-ea-help/
Are you aware how new player pick selection work? How to select / unselect player in player pick? etc. Lots of new people making these kind of mistakes.
