Game verdict after trial

I played 10 hours of early acces ...

My experience was 20% Good 80 %Bad

Lets start with what i liked.

The animations are nice

The way the game looks is very clean

The players look awesome

The menu is the same as last year...but no glitching as far as i experienced

The stuff i didnt like

i was placed in div 7 while my account ended in Div 9( I told customer service that i felt like i was playing against higher div players in EA FC 24. And i was right.

With slow and sluggish movement there is no competing against higher Div players

I didnt win one game due to unresponsive players. Mind you....10 hours a lot of games scored once or twice

In squadbattle i would score goals however playing competive matches coming in the same situation my players wouldnt even aim straight...passing the ball in a different direction then i was aiming

even if my opponent was lowerskilled i still could not get thru his ai defence in some cases the opponent would not even participate in the game and let the Ai defend for him....manual defending is still not rewarded

First touches are heavy....it would take a second for my players to react and pass the ball

My ping was between 6 and 18

all in all not a good experience....i would have pre ordered if atleast had a good connection and won some of my games

but waiting till patches and price drops

for those who do have good gameplay this will feel way better then ea fc 24...

also better players help

@StarscreamdaliI believe you can drop in d1 and d2. They also changed how checkpoints work I think.

The tactics are nice and really fun to play with. I do worry about the meta in a month or two how tactics will be. Aside from how the community uses it they are a good addition.

As far as how matchmaking is right now it’s always a mess when the game starts. No matter how they implement the starter division. I remember one year you had to qualify for your division like weekend league. I thought you could get placed in lower divisions like d432 and that was a mess.

@Starscreamdali I almost want to say this year is a must buy. They have changed and fixed so much but it’s still early.

In theory matchmaking should be the best it’s ever been. First they have done away with rovers friendlies is no longer attached. They also made it so you can drop divisions if you lose. Friendlies is now on form.

Also if you quit you no longer lose form so this should give better matchups and stop quitting.

Wl should be harder so the pros and good players should be there while rivals will give easier matchups if you don’t make it.

Rush does away with all the ai the only problem is offense still isn’t manual. Why offense isn’t manual is beyond me. But rush is finally that super chill mode.

So far my only downside is offense still not being manual. The rest we will have to see how the community figures out how to cheat the system or not. It should be a must buy depending on the community.

@RadioShaqs Hey man thanks for replying.

I was excited to start the trial especially with the matchmaking but im not dropping in division it stays in div 7.

I just want to start of easy and learn the mechanics now its way to sweaty and kind of kills the joy in getting better players.

I love the new tactics system tho seems like you can play in a better way counter wise etc etc

@RadioShaqs Cool… yeah I really love the tactics it’s not limited I do just like you worry that they will find some kind of meta glitch and everybody is forced to play a certain way.

But up until now I absolutely love the animations. Looks really fresh.

Well you got me to buy the game mate hope the gameplay improves a bit response wise.

What tactics do you like so far?

@Starscreamdali I don’t even have a tactic yet. I’ve played I dunno 6 squad battles and the rest have been rush. I’ve just tried all different tactics. So far I like that fullbacks don’t seem so set like before. You can have them be false 9 attacking or defending. It’s probably going to take a lot of time before I get one I like.
