Sorry what did ea fix in the patch cause noting they say they patched seems to have been fixed instead it feels worse, my player gets tackled and every time they all do the same animation, I tackle and the ball takes the strangest bounces and goes back to my opponent. My attackers have zero pace and always being outpaced. Opponents attackers with 35 defending can win the ball without trying my defenders with 90+ defending win a tackle and the ball goes back to my opponent.
CB with 78 pace is faster than ST with 96 pace… EA’s point of view on football… I dont know if they ever watched football let alone play it. Shame to the developers and also shame on us who buy this garbage they call a game.
Sounds like you are having connection issues. Pace is actually to much now. Defenders can no longer keep up. Ea has already said the majority like it and they won’t be going back. So looks like we are back to a pace fest. Which is a shame as they have tried to nerf it ever since fullbacks at cbs. People like arcade gameplay I guess.
Sorry my friend but this has nothing to do with connection issues (network and electric engeneer here), there is something else that is not right on theyr side, last game about 10 mins ago, my player (96 pace) side bi side with opponents CB (78 pace) and he is faster, nothing to do with connection. In my opinion the game was not developed in time and they launched it and now for some time they are trying to “fix” it.

Then you are doing something wrong. Right now it’s like sports cars just zooming around with ping pong passing. I mean I know people like just running past defenders and easy offense but it’s just to much.
