Horrible Gameplay

I understand what you're saying and have just sopped playing in general but don't you also think that's part of the problem? Just accepting that the servers suck and I don't know what the game is going to feel like when I get on is unacceptable. For a company as large as EA they shouldn't have this issue and there should be a better answer than just "that's the way it is". 

Totally agree!!! I am facing the same issue like you described. I played Rivals, at least for the last 2 days it seems like I just giving the game away when my players just standing around or move like they have dumbbell tied to their groin.

Yes it is a game, but why should I not be able to enjoy the game because EA Sports is bad at their job?

I can’t believe there aren’t a thousand more if these messages. I appreciate the reminder that this is just a game…I’m generally a peaceful dude, but the level of frustration I get when the game play goes to * throws my wife off. She’s like, who is this guy?!

i agree, though, that they are a massive company and you would think, BY NOW, they would either have fixed it or come up with a solution like messaging that says, be ready, the game is * due to servers. If I know going in, I think I can handle it better. 

And it kills me when the other person thinks it’s a fair match…I think I can generally tell when the other person is playing with terrible connection.

This rubbish stuck on the mud gameplay has been going on for since fut started, it’s pretty much the same game every year with the same issues, even the coding is rubbish! Think they need to take a year out and fix all the bugs increase the servers and they would probably make more money

I 100% agree, if I’m paying $100 for a game I expect it to run smooth and have very few bugs. The scripting is horrendous, I could be up 3-0 with 20 minutes left in the game and all of a sudden my team is unable to connect a pass and runs like a new born child. And this is all while my opponent’s players all become a mix of Messi, Ronaldo, and Maldini. But on the other end I can be losing by 3 or 4-0 and my players suddenly drop 30-40 ratings. It’s a joke of a game. I know there is an AI to help with things like that and keep games more balanced but it never kicks in at the right moments or even at all for me. There also seems to be an agenda to keep certain people in certain ranks, I recently played a match and on the last game I needed to rank up to division 2, I lost 10-1, where I conceded from 10 shots and had 8 of my 9 shots saved. My keeper just couldn’t dive as quickly as he used to and when he did make a save it was pushed straight into the path of another player on the other team, my defense was often walking back to my goal. I get that it’s just a game and that virtual players shouldn’t really matter but it’s disappointing and a disgrace that I pay so much money every year expecting a change and then it’s the same game.
