Are you on PC? I'm on PC and consistently can't find quick games because everyone on console has turned off cross-play. When I do find a match I have the same experience as you or I get matched against someone who plays 10 times better than ultimate mode in squad battles!
They should start to put bots in so we get quick games that have normal responsiveness and we are matched against someone at your level.
Come on EA we paid for a game to play all game modes, help us out!
