Just looking for an explanation

How come some ultimate team games, when I intercept a pass it stays on or around the intercepting player.  Then other games.. no matter how hard the pass I intercepted was.. it ricochets off my player and it goes to the other team. Every. single. time.  Sometimes with the most spin youve ever seen in the game to curve around 5 of my teams players to find the opposing team.  Ill post screen recordings if I need to.. its not like they are trying to hide it its incredibly easy to see and feel.   Is EA unable to write a script that is consistent and balanced between the two teams game after game?   Seems like theres no issue in pro clubs/other game modes.  Ultimate team its glaringly obvious.   Why?
