Massive Delay in online play

Does anyone know how to get rid of the delay when pressing to do standing and sliding tackles. It seem to be a lot slower and delayed when ever i try, I dont know if its something i can fix myself or if ea need to look at how delayed it is compared to the like of passing and shooting
You know what EA will say...it's your internet connection that's the usual garbage on here and we no it's not it's ea servers where the problem lies.
