Massive Delay in online play

Mate they won't do * ! they don't have the servers to accommodate us all .Consumer protection should do something. They shouldn't be able to sell us this game as long as we are not in range of the servers. When you go in to buy the game, it doesn't specify anywhere that your location affects the performance of the game. 

I've been playing UT mode since Fifa16, for the last 3 years I've been getting constant packet loss, jitter warnings. Oddly enough the only game I've had this problem with is the FC series and I've done everything there is to do.

I had the main port checked, changed my modem countless times, redirected my ports, had the cable of my service changed to CAT5 cable, I've had a wired connection for at least 6 years, and I tried playing on different devices, but none of them gave me a solution.
My game has button delay, sometimes it doesn't reflect in the game even though I press certain buttons and this happens most of the time when I do skill moves, my player switches with the right analog do not work correctly, my game is always heavy as other friends have said and it is obvious that we are not playing the same game as my opponents.
Gameplay-wise, my opponents may be better than me, but I was a Div1 player before Elite Division was added, and I've played Elite Division countless times since then, and you can be sure that there is a huge difference between me in matches where I have connectivity problems and me when the game is smooth.
This lag makes me feel like I have to manually control all 11 players, during co-op rivals I've heard my friends say “man why isn't our team moving, it's like they're not taking positions” and when I played rivals myself I realized that this happens all the time and I always have to give my players an extra directive.
It was as if there was a problem in the optimization between me and the opponent and my game was lagging, and sometimes my game would freeze for a moment.
The FC 25 issue is very strange, as other players above said, there is a big difference between kick off mode and rivals in fut mode and even in squad battles, on the online side, command inputs seem to go meaninglessly late and the game feels like it is played at 0.75x speed.
Maybe it has something to do with the matchmaking system, and it's not routing correctly, but it's very annoying, and I can tell you from my years of FC experience that this company doesn't care about this kind of problem for its players.

Exactly! But how does consumer protection work? Someone have to report or? I mean ea sell not only game full of different bugs but also fool people about their servers. Input delay makes this game actually unplayble.

I also want to mention that in the first like 2-3 minutes of the game I have no delay at all as you can see in the vid.

yes i know but how do i fix that. And can't you see the delay without it?

I still don't get why's there's two controllers when the delay happens the minute you sign into ea servers.

Now if something was actually wrong with your connection and it wasn't EAs server delay I could see how it would work. One would be in normal sync with EA servers and one would be delayed.

But they're both out of sync because EA servers are out of sync.

i dont struggle with bad connection with any other game. And I tried playing online on two different places with diffrent internets. My friends that live nearby dont have this problem. @RadioShaqs that doesn't make sense but if they're both online, imagine everything is delayed because of server delay. Just imagine everything on one players screen is delayed and the person you're playing has normal gameplay.

How can one be online and one offline if UT always needs a connection to the server.

The delay has nothing to do with opponents.

Guys listen, Ea dont give f, its that simple, you can send all videos you want they will and cant fix anything, the game is not for everybody, the servers are to far away and they are overfilled, they are also to bad.

Lets try somthingelse then, log out from Ea servers and play an other online game instead and you got 100 % proof there is nothing wrong with youre connection, now unistall Ea open youre trashcan and dunk that trashgame where it belongs, you guys will never ever in a lifetime be able to play their game and iam suprised that thats comes as a suprise.....

@RadioShaqssure, 72 hours. Are you saying smthg like that on purpose people to lost their patinece and insult you in any way sp moderatos could have a reason for ban? Is it your mission here?

Here is video of input delay in rush. In other online modes it`s bigger. I have doubts anyone from ea officials answer me why I had 96-98 score (which means no packet loss) in ea connection quality report in fc 24 in september, and now with all same conditions on my side including same 23-30 ping I have only 80-81 score with 0.7 - 0.8 % of packet loss. I have two new controllers inculding xbox series x wired. My pc is good for any AAA game, 100mbit wired internet, I have no any connection related problems in any other dynamic online game. But in this game (also in fc 24 even in late september while having 98 score) I have damn input delay which just do not let me have comfort gaming expirience turning it into stress mess full of anger and disappointment. One of basic features of this game is player`s, any player`s ability to sprint, even really slow player`s. In game, in "customise controls/controller settings" it says - RT button - "sprint". Then whywhen  I press acceleration button most of the times my players don`t actually accelerate, they start doing it 1 or even 2 seconds later, at times even like 3 secinds later! They start running faster (but not all and not always) but they don`t run for 100% of their abilities! Just in case I have to mention  - of course I have analog sprint off. It`s literally impossible to play like that! It`s unfair, outrageous and absolutely unacceptable. I even don`t wanna start talking here about pro clubs experience... mode that I used to play for many years. its ridiculous, my gameplay looks the same, I am a very decent player, very reliable on dribbling, yet these conditions make me feel like im so *. I used to get 17-19 wins last fifa on PS5, I sold my console and moved to PC. It's unbelievable for me that they could release a game in such state. I played fut champs last weekend and got 12-3 but my god was it so hard due to the gameplay.. I don't really think they will ever patch this unresponsiveness, this game has such a * code that it will not be possible. * optimisation, my gameplay in other games is perfect, yet here in EAFC which is not as demanding as e.g. Cyberpunk it's unplayable. Adding that my transfer market on webapp and companion isnt still unlocked makes me really think about a refund. This is tragedy.

holy f..k, my gameplay looks the same, I cant believe that they released a game worth 100€+ in such state. The code that this game is written in is in such a * state I don't believe that will be possible to repair. What's more I don't even think that EA wants to focus on responsiveness as they only want content in the store (FP packs). Adding that my transfer market in webapp/companion isn't unlocked after spending 100hrs in game and playing for 3 weeks daily makes me really think about a refund. This is madness.

To be fair, i think a lot of it is to do with graphics and certain settings. I have suffered with issues going back to probably fifa 12, over xbox, playstation and pc. Generally it was sluggish players with no acceleration, no ai on my players etc, for every online match. Ive hardly played since fifa 22 because of it. However i have been looking at all sorts of things that i could do in the hope of finding a solution. Lately i have been looking at refresh rates and frame rates and this has had a massive impact on how the game plays (either good or bad). Ive finally got the gameplay to a place where its much more equal in how my players move. Yes the game can be sluggish but its more for both players. Luckily i can now get 240 in terms of frame rates through my pc. I doubt this can help others on ps or xbox but it is possible to improve the gameplay. Granted i shouldn’t have had to gone to the lengths i did to get decent gameplay, but i wouldn’t always assume its on EA’s end.
