Massive Delay in online play
I play on PC. This year so far it seems like I am getting a good 1-2 second delay between inputting a command and players responding anytime I play online. Opponents do not seem to have the same prob...

@pawanwazza just try to play the game when you usually dont play it like late night or early morning as gone-north adviced you to do.
I dont think there is anything wrong with youre connection mate i think the servers you are connect to is overfilled and thats makes youre game delayed, can also be a combination between distance and to many people, ive got exactly the same problem when iam played the game in the past, just try diffrent times and see if you notice any diffrent, good luck !

The inconsistent gameplay and "overfilled" servers have been the exact same issues since 2010-11. It is virtually impossible to have the same problem(s) for almost 15 years! Just think about it. Technology has progressed light years compared to what was available back then.
The soft and hardware, infrastructure, availability, providers, etc. and it's not an isolated case, meaning there are thousands upon thousands of people who have had the same problems since at least 2010. How many console generations have been released? And the only consistent theme was and obviously still is the delay and inconsistent gameplay in online FIFA/FC games.
Their servers now are either from 2010 or it's something else that causes the issue.
Yes that's what I am saying. They need to improve their servers. I play on Mumbai data centre in India. They need payment more to AWS to improve their functionality. As simple as that. We should not be staying up till 5am to get good gameplay. It should be provided to us all round the clock without any issues. That's how it should be setup.
Look at the two screenshots, please. The post and response was made 15 years ago. the same exact problem with the exact same experience but only 15 years apart. He played other games and had no issues and only had issues when he was playing FIFA. The same exact experience as the original poster here. I have a question. Why is it that every other game works just fine, not when you played FiFa? It's always the same way. You had delay but your opponent could play faster pass faster, defend faster while you on the other hand felt like as if you were wearing concrete boots. As I said in my previous response before. It is impossible to have the exact same problem with inconsistent gameplay and delay for a time span of 15 years!!! The progress technology has made compared to what was available at that time, makes the excuses and explanations and causes of the delay obsolete.

- @cCiIcCo 15 years ago would have been p2p so one player was the host. Now with servers that’s not the case.

- @pawanwazza I dont comment on videos. I am just glad you posted it so ea can look at it or anyone else can and the community will understand what’s going on. When ea went over noways video last year it was very helpful to understand what was going on.
The reason I don’t is first off my opinion doesn’t matter and second it’s up to ea you or your isp.
Just look at how close your controllers are that will tell you if you have that 2 3 4 5 or 6 second delay.
If you say you have delay I believe you. Who’s end it’s on is more of a debate. It is not delay My friend. I am talking about my game speed being slow while my opponent fast which is normal. My speed keeps fluctuating. It is not about delay. My buttons and inputs are registered quickly with probably 0.1ms delay which is negligible.but the real problem is my game running slow.....

- @pawanwazza If you don’t have delay this seems different to what the op and others where talking about. That’s likely not a server issue then if others don’t experience it.
Bro you have very poor memory. Don't make assumptions without watching the video. OMG. You are unbearable. Damn. My bad bro. I am telling you again. Everything is perfect but my players and ai work very slow compared to my opponent. During the game it becomes fine for a minute then again goes back to being slow. It is slow most of the time... How can this not be a server issue? You really need to get your facts checked. You are living a deluded life....
- @pawanwazza This thread is about delay. People are complaining about delay in here. If you have delay then this would suggest it’s possible it’s a server issue. You don’t have delay or you do I don’t know I am just taking whatever you say for fact. The last post you said you don’t have delay or at least very minimal. Why would it be a server issue if you are not seeing delay and nobody else is having the same issue?
