Subject: New Player Pick Concept for FUT – Risk & Reward Style
Hi EA Team,
I’d like to share a new idea for a Player Pick mechanic in Ultimate Team that combines strategic choice with exciting risk-reward gameplay.
Here's how it would work:
- A new type of Player Pick contains 3 hidden choices.
- Instead of showing the full player cards, only the player faces are shown (e.g. Messi, Ronaldo, etc.) – not the versions or stats.
- One of the picks is marked with a "?" icon, which guarantees a player rated 90+.
- The other two (e.g. Messi and Ronaldo) could be any version – Gold, TOTW, TOTS, etc.
- The user can only select and reveal one of them.
- Once selected, the version of that player is revealed (for example, Messi Gold or Messi TOTY).
- After selecting and seeing that version, the other two are locked forever.
- At the end, the game shows what the user could have gotten if they picked another option – just to make it exciting and a bit emotional!
I believe this would add a thrilling psychological layer to FUT, and create awesome moments for content creators and players alike.
