New to fc 25

I have been playing fc 25. Why does every game feel like i need to really stuff the guy just to get a draw. Im having 20 shots to their 2 and it ending in a draw. The 2 goals they scored came from good timed challenges but somehow bounce into their path to lead them one on one.

I have also noticed the passing seems very inaccurate when I play other players that are clearly poorer than me and for some reason the movement of my uncontrolled players is non existent for attacking players and then my defenders start running round in circles.

Has this always been a thing as it is very frustrating. I was going to pre order the new one but I don't think I'll bother it's not an enjoyable experience rather a frustrating one.
