Am I the only one who often get punished with goals scored doing an overhead kick on corners?
If the player is a strong one it seems basically impossible to stop him... with plenty of Marcus Thuram around it seems a big issue for me :D
It's been noticeable over the weekend that the overhead kick from a corner is well and truly back - and that's not a good thing. It was exploited time and time again for months in EA FC 24 until the season was almost over. Just as bad was defenders who would be penalised for heading the ball when an attacker was trying an overhead kick!

I found out how to move the GK (sorry for taking so long) and it's effective in some case (when the corner isn't taken too quickly and the player isn't that far from the GK) but in some other isn't (for example if the opponent is smart enough to change his way to take the corner like putting the ball longer for another player with the door already opened, or in case he puts it shorter for another one).
The bad side is that I'm terrible with corners so basically I never score while I get scored against (even if less than before, as I also improved my defenders)
People scoring scummy goals like that... if you get the lead on them let them experience the "I'm just going to pass around at the back for the rest of the game"

But yeah, you have to move the GK. You also need to select the tallest defender and plonk him in front of the player they will aim for. Quick right stick movement to select player and move.
EA need to tone overhead kicks down massively from corners.
