There is nothing wrong with wasting time it’s not cheating. Ea would need to change it. Next year they are going to nerf defense while doubling pace dribbling and ping pong passing. So you will likely see even more of it.
Real players get yellow cards for wasting time, why wouldn't it happen on EAFC?
It's not cheating, but adds zero fairplay and fun, especially since at the moment the victim is the one affects instead of the the actual time waster (the warning by staying still). You can't stay still, but if you follow the ball it's very hard because your AI won't really push that further.
