Problems whit future stars

In the Evolution of Future Stars method for Midfield III, Aspiring to Attack III, and Dynamic Defense III, the athlete requirements are:

• Overall rating: exactly 88
• Rarity: Evolution of Future Stars
• Playing styles: minimum 8
• Playing styles+: minimum 2

At no point does it state that having more than 8 playing styles would prevent the player from evolving. Please correct this issue—I am unable to evolve my player because I assigned 9 playing styles, assuming it would not be a problem.
